So, do you just chase whatever’s trending?
No. Most trends aren’t worth the effort or the money. A look only earns a spot here if it’s genuinely livable and you’ll still like it long after the feed has moved on to the next thing.
How do I make a trend feel like mine?
That’s the question I keep in mind on every article. I focus on adapting a color or style to your space and budget, rather than copying a photo detail for detail until your room looks borrowed.
Which rooms do you write about?
Living rooms, bedrooms, and all the in-between spaces, with current looks broken down so they’re easy to borrow from without tipping into overkill.
Will you tell me when something’s a fad?
Every time. I’d rather flag a passing fad early than watch you commit to something that dates by next spring.
